Setting up your bot account
Plutheon reads donation data by logging into Total Battle the same way a clan officer would. Because that needs credentials, we ask you to create a dedicated second TB account — the "bot account" — and give us its login. Your personal account stays untouched.
Why a separate account?
- Safety. If anything ever goes wrong, the worst case is one disposable bot account, not your main.
- Consistency. The bot logs in on a fixed schedule. You logging in from your phone in the middle of a bot scan would create conflicts.
- Auditability. Activity from the bot is easy to identify and revoke. Activity from your real account is not.
Important: Total Battle terms-of-service risk
Innogames' Total Battle Terms of Service do not explicitly permit third-party automation. Running a bot on your account — including the dedicated one we ask you to create — is something they could ban you for if they noticed and decided to act. We've never had a customer banned, and the bot behaves conservatively (no clicks beyond what an officer would do to read the Crypt), but the risk is not zero.
By signing up you acknowledge this risk and agree that the bot account you provide is one you can afford to lose. Don't use your main account's email or password for the bot.
Step-by-step
- Create a fresh email address. A free Gmail / Proton / similar address works. Don't reuse your personal email.
- Register a new Total Battle account with that email. Pick a name that signals "bot" or "[ClanName] tracker" — your real officers should recognize it.
- Join your clan with the bot account. The bot needs to be a member of the clan whose Crypt it's reading.
- Verify the bot can see the Crypt. Open the Crypt with the bot account. If the bot can't see donations as an ordinary member, neither can we.
- Hand us the credentials. On
/app/[slug]/setup-botafter signup, paste the bot email + password into the form. Both are stored encrypted in Supabase Vault.
What we do with the credentials
- Password is encrypted at rest in Supabase Vault. Operators can't read it as plaintext.
- The bot logs in only from our backend infrastructure (a single IP range).
- We never act in-game with the bot beyond opening the Crypt screen and reading the donation list. No building, no trading, no chatting.
- If you cancel, the bot stops logging in immediately. You can rotate or remove the credentials anytime from clan settings.
Ready?
Once your bot account is created and in the clan, head to signup and you'll be guided through the rest.
